Settlement Tanks for Wastewater Treatment Plants

The BIOROCK Sewage Treatment Plant follows a settlement tank made for us by Conder

It is also possible to use an existing 2 chamber septic tank as the settlement tank.  In this case you would just order the BIOROCK plant itself.

These raw sewage tanks are available either as :-

Class 1 - Concrete base, straps and granular backfill
Class 2 - Full concrete base and surround

The Class 1 settlement tanks are more expensive to buy but cheaper and easier to install - the choice is yours.

We can also supply full drawings for you to build your own raw sewage settlement tank using concrete and blocks.  This is useful for the Isle of Man and the Scottish Islands, where transportation of large tanks is expensive.  As the BIOROCK fits on pallets, they are relatively cheap to transport.

For larger BIOROCK modular systems, the settlement tanks are sized individually.

If required, as an option, we can also supply the BIOROCK settlement tank from Germany.  This is a polyethylene tank in the same mould as the BIOROCK.  It requires only a dry cement/sand mix backfill, but it is much more expensive than the Conder tank.
